Spanish interior minister opened an investigation into a barbaric attack on two Algerian illegal immigrants in a detention center in Valencia, according to an official document.

Adel Mounir lost four teeth while Youcef Aarab lost two as they had been beaten by security guards at the center.

A document released by the Spanish State Department says that the General Director of Spanish Police will go to the center to investigate about the issue and obtain more details to take appropriate measures.

This comes as Dar El-Djazaier association sent a complaint about the attack on November 14th.

According to the document, the investigation will not prevent the implementation of sanction measures against foreigners. The Algerian illegal immigrants may be kicked out as they do not have residence documents. They also may fill a lawsuit against the attackers.

The association president Houria Shili told Echorouk the detention center administration started procedures to chase drive the Algerian illegal immigrants out of Spain.

A French witness was kicked out. He was at the center along with three others including two Algerians who are still detained. The center administration tries to cover up the truth by preventing witness from testifying about the issue, she said.

She added that her association contacted Algeria’s Consul in Alicante. He said he will go the detention center to investigate about the issue and take necessary measures if the attack is proven to be real.
