Spain sequestrates 18 Algerian illegal migrants

Echourouk has been informed by some families that a group of 18 illegal migrants including 4 teenagers from the remote villages of Sidi Lakhdar, 45 Km from Mostaganem (west of Algeria) are sequestrated by Spanish authorities at their arrival to the Spanish shores.

• The group departed from the small port of Sidi Lakhdar during the first days of the holy month of Ramadan choosing the a particular timing, more precisely the break of fasting in a bid to lure the vigilance of the national gendarmerie.
