Surveillance Cameras save two kids from being kidnapped in Algiers

Police aborted, on Sunday morning, the process of kidnapping two kids, who were on board of a car type “Polo”, as their mother left the engine pending the delivery of her third kids to the kindergarten, which is located in the neighborhood “Jolie vue” in Algiers, while police managed to the identification of one of the kidnappers by surveillance cameras in the area near a commercial centers located in the main street.

“Echorouk” moved to the place of the incident, where it found more than ten police cars, which were parked in the place of the attempt to kidnap the kids. Scientific policemen were present as well, and once we arrived we saw the mother of the two kids who was shocked and saying hysterically; “I thank Allah who save me and my children, I thank the police for their noble work. The criminals aimed to left me without my kids on the eve of Eid Al Fitr.”

During our presence in the place, we were able to know the details of the case, as a mother in the forties came to the neigbourhood to take her kids to school, and while she parked her car in front of the kindergarten, which located in neighborhood of “Jolie Vue”, and left her car’s engine in work, in order to deliver the three years old kids, leaving the two others in the car, someone broke into the car but the will of Allah prevented him from completing the kidnapping. As soon as the woman went out of the kindergarten, she saw her car and started screaming, and the police patrol was coming from the security check point that is located a few meters away from the crime scene, then it chased the car and surrounded the place until the car stopped, but the kidnapper escaped through the narrow alleys of the villas, while he left the car and the two kids near a Super market known as “Djoudi Superette.”
