Taher Belabbes: “We have a “third force” to spoil Presidential Elections if government does not respond to our demands”

Popular sit-in to be held on Saturday or what has become known as the “Day of Anger” will be organized in several cities across the national territory, and will attract all segments of the civil society, especially youth, National Coordinator for the Syndicate of Defending Jobless Rights, Taher Balabbas, said at Echorouk Forum on Friday.

“This protest is expected to be more supportive to youth than the last March 14 sit-in, which was historic”.

“Saturday’s sit-in is organized, peaceful and expressive, and is considered another message to the system. We have formed a new front that is called a “third force” that will spoil the 2014 Presidential elections, through parallel gatherings of the candidates and to convince citizens of not being dragged by them, if Bouteflika’s rule will not be extended, because the current mentioned names do not represent the people, and is an extension of the current power, and is even considered its shadow”.

“Sellal’s Government is unable to realize jobless demands and convince the simplest officials to refrain from actions and adhere to their recent decisions, and apply them literally and avoid playing with the employment file. We do not support the war on power, and will not support anyone. We have nothing to do with the candidate to the elections, Ahmed Ben Bitour, who is also former Prime Minister”.
