Terrorism: Italian authorities expelled an Algerian implicated in organizing a terrorist cell belonging to AQIM
Italian authorities expelled an Algerian accused of organizing a terrorist group, and deported him to Algeria on Saturday noon after he spent six years in prison ruled by the Italian justice in 2008.
According to AFP, the Algerian national Khaled Sarrai was expelled by the Italian Interior Ministry, then deported to Algiers on a flight from Rome Saturday noon, following six-year prison ruled by the criminal court of Naples on January 10, 2008 on charges of organizing a terrorist group and supporting illegal migration.
The Italian Interior Ministry said this man represents a danger on the security and public order of the country, adding that he is a professional in manufacturing explosives and is implicated with his Islamist fellows in organizing a terrorist back-up cell belonging to AQIM.
