The caravan of loyalty to Gaza-bound peace flotilla now in Cairo

The organizers of the caravan of faithfulness to the martyrs of the Gaza-bound peace flotilla have initiated their aid action in conjunction with the “Islah and El Irchad” association and the humanitarian help body of the Egyptian doctors' trade union after receiving the prior agreement from the solidarity ministry of the Gaza strip. 

• The Algerian side has handed in to the relevant Trade Union the list of the pharmaceutical products to be purchased while negotiations are underway with the Egyptian authorities in order to allow the Algerians to funnel foodstuffs to the Gaza population.

• However, the head of the caravan Nacer Eddine Cheklal said that he had received an accord in principle from the Egyptian side on the matter.

• The organizers of the caravan have also secured the list of medicines and medical equipments needed in Gaza.
•  
• This list was conveyed to an Egyptian pharmaceutical company.
•  
• The members of the caravan were earlier welcomed upon their arrival in Cairo by the Algerian Ambassador in Egypt Abdelkader Hadjar who got in touch with the relevant Egyptian authorities in order to ease all the required procedures as part of the smooth fulfillment of this lofty humanitarian mission for the benefit of the besieged Gaza population.
