The General Manager of “Algal Plus” Firm forced to forsake his factory in Msila

The General Manager of the “Algal Plus” firm, Mr Soubhi Hadj Hassan, a subsidiary of a Jordanian group and local shareholders have given away all their investments in Algeria in protest against the forced closure of their factory located in the eastern city of Msila, by 40 wrong-doers armed with knives, sticks and iron-bars.

  • This factory produces aluminum in the industrial zone of Msila in eastern Algeria.

  •
  •
  • Soubhi Hadj Hassan has decided to quit Algeria for good and to give away all his investments in the country after the Algerian government’s failure to provide him with protection against repeated acts of aggression against him, his family members and his Algerian associates, as he put it.

  •
  •
  • He said that he had decided as a result to leave the country on a permanent basis and to give away his aluminum-producing factory to the Algerian state by asking for no financial compensation at all.

  •
  •
  • Soubhi Hadj Hassan said that he didn’t want to waste his time and efforts in Algeria as the government is unable to face up to 40 assailants who have closed the factory for 5 months now and prevented over 400 hapless employees from working to earn their living.
