The Global March to Jerusalem Kick-off on Later March, Organizers

A massive march towards the border of the occupied territories of Palestine, including Jordan, Egypt and Lebanon, is to start on 30 March on the occasion of the celebration of Earth Day.

The march is initiated by the Global March to Jerusalem, which aims at conducting media campaign to attract the intention of the world towards Palestinian cause. 

Several capital cities worldwide will, on the same day, mark massive sit-ins and rallies to show solidarity with Palestinians, and force their governments to press Israel stopping brutal oppression against the Palestinian people. 

“The world must be aware of the fairly Palestinian cause, amid inaction of Arab governments who are supposed to protect al-Quds (Jerusalem) from Judaization,” representative of the Global March to Jerusalem in Algeria, Abderrazak Mokri said. 

“This march is a direct message to both the West and Israel that says: Sooner or later free people will head to Palestine to free it from Israeli occupation,” Mokri said. 

In Algeria, the event will be marked by sit-ins in universities and a wide support campaign in social networks, including Facebook and Twitter, he added. 

The Algerian Commission for the Global March to Palestine is to be installed shortly, the activist said.
