The national company of rail transport was obliged to reconsider the prices it’s adopted in the exploitation of the new electric trains.

• It decided to reduce 20% of the price in two lines, thus the increases of 130% and 150% become 100%.

• Despite the company’s program carries the decision to generalize the increases in the beginning of next July, it changed decision after the customers insist on refusing the high prices, that’s why it reduces these prices to 20%.

• According to the new pricing schedule, which has some exceptions for students, adopted in all the railway stations, the lines which noticed new increases were revised. After the price of the line Algiers-Reghaia noticed a rise of 125%, now settle at 105%. The price which rose from 75 dinars to 175 dinars, now stopped at 150 dinars.

• Echorouk sources said the new reductions coincide with the beginning of the new commercial project which was signed with the Swiss factory “Stadler Bussnang AG” swallowing 550 million dinars from the state treasury on the grounds that the project had been completed under the program of economic development and modernization of the railway trains.
