Three gendarmes wounded in Tizi Ouzou beach bombing: Algeria

A hand-made bomb went off Sunday wounding 3 gendarmes next to a beach in Tizi Ouzou province (100 km east of Algiers), according to informed sources.

• The bomb which was hidden at the entrance of the road leading to Thasalast beach was remotely controlled by terrorists.

• Two hand-made bombs were discovered by a contractor dismantled Sunday by the Algerian National Army in the area of Tigzirt in Tizi Ouzou, said the same sources.
