Three players miss Algeria flight
Three players of the senior national team of Liberia, the Lone Star, have missed their flight with the team to the North African Nation of Morocco.
- The Secretary General of the Liberia Football Association told Star Radio, the players missed the flight for Morocco due to late arrival at the Roberts International Airport.
Mr. George Williams identified the players as Dulee Johnson, Francis Doe and Dioh Williams.
It is still not clear whether or not the players would travel to Morocco and join their colleagues in training.
The senior National team left the country early Monday morning for Morocco for a training camp ahead of her 2010 Nations Cup and World Cup qualifier with Algeria on 6 June.
Mr. Williams also confirmed that there is no representative from the Ministry of Youth and Sports on the delegation.
The LFA Chief Scribe said it is due to an agreement reached between both the LFA and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Meanwhile, latest reports say two of the players Dioh Williams and Francis Doe are making frantic efforts to leave for Algeria via Ghana.
