Three terrorists behind Algeria suicide bomber identified
One of the three terrorists who carried out a suicide attack Sunday on a military barracks in Boumerdes province (50 km east of Algiers) died of injuries Monday on his way to a hospital in Algiers, Echorouk has learnt from well-informed sources.

Mustapha. K. who joined terrorist groups in 1998 was wounded following a clash with the Algerian army, said the same sources.

The two other terrorists who accompanied him and killed were identified as well. Merzag. M, 18, joined terrorists in April and Ibrahim. M, 34, had already been sentenced to 6 years prison before joining terrorist groups in 2002.

Investigations are underway to identify the suicide bomber through a DNA test on his body’s remaining.

Terrorists set up a false road block in Tizi Ouzou

Witnesses said a terrorist group set up a false road block on Wednesday in the area of Kouanine in eastern Boumerdes.

According to corroborating sources, the road block was set up at around 6 am next to a dangerous corner on a national road.

Two soldiers wounded in clash

Two Algerian soldiers were wounded on Wednesday at around 8 pm in a clash with an armed group in eastern Tizi Ouzou (100 km east of Algiers), according to well-informed sources.

The armed group entered into a clash with the army immediately after they had been ordered to stop at a check point. Some terrorists were wounded.
