Tibhirine Monks' assassination: French investigation magistrate Marc Trévidic to visit Algeria on March
French judge in charge of the investigation into the assassination of Tibhirine monks Marc Trévidic will visit Algeria in the first half of next March, in order to preview the Church of Atlas in Tibhirine, and conduct DNA analyzes over the heads of monks after removing them from the tombs in the monastery cemetery, Echorouk informed sources said.
This visit will be a field job after the first procedural visit by the judge last November.
the same sources did not rule out the news that the coming visit will be followed by other visits, according to the investigation plan that was developed by the investigating judge in agreement with the Algerian judicial authorities.
It is well known that the visit of the French investigating magistrate to Algeria came after the Algerian authorities’ approval and authorization to investigate in the issue which goes back to 1996.
