Tight negotiations between Malian authorities and terrorist group to release Austrian tourists

Negotiations between the so called Mokhtar Belmokhtar representatives, nicknamed “Khaled Abu Al Abbas” the leader of the “veiled squad “ a branch of the Salafit group formerly led by Hassen Al Hattab, and the Malian authorities are still underway concerning the Mauritanian terrorist arrested by the Malian security forces.

• According to sources, Mokhtar Belmokhtar conditioned the liberation of the Austrian tourist abducted last March by a group led by “Abdelhamid Abu Zeid”, by the release of the Mauritanian terrorists, busted by the Malian authorities.
• In this respect, the Austrian authorities sent an envoy to take part in these negotiations. Austrian newspaper published news based on official sources, that the liberation of the tourists is set to be on September 28.
