Tunisia-born Algerians lead miserable life
More than 13 thousand Algerian from the second and third generations born in various regions of Tunisia decades ago, said they were leaving in “inhuman conditions†deprived from their basic civil rights as concerns work, housing, official documents and even from owning properties they bought during the colonial period.

One of residents in the region of Widadya said “ Thousands of Algerians do not have identity and resident cards, the lucky ones have to wait for two years to get one and have to brave bureaucratic hurdles to renew them, insisting on the fact that Moroccans do not face the same problems”.
