Tunisian expected to receive one million Algerian tourists in summer

Tunisian authorities are expecting visits from more than one million Algerian tourists during this summer holidays, according to Fawzi El Basali, director of Tunisian tourism bureau.

El Basali said the large Algerian influx from year to year to Tunisian tourist areas prompted the Tunisian authorities this year to take a set of special procedures for the good reception of Algerian tourists. Instruction had been given to each qualified agents to provide all good conditions for Algerians.

Director of the Tunisian tourism bureau also confirmed that the preparations for receiving huge numbers of Algerians included the creation of many accommodation facilities such as hotels, in addition to several processed houses.

According to him, Tunisia is considered as the best tourist place for Algerians, not only during summer but over the whole year. “There has always been dynamic and continuous activity across the Algerian Tunisian borders as well as friendly relationships between the two countries in view of close traditions and cultures.
