On the extreme eastern borders of Algeria, dozens of Tunisians escaped from the Tunisian province Kafssa.  On Thursday, Algerian and Tunisian guards were deployed on Algerian Tunisian borders with more than 15 cars. Between them, there were about 50 Tunisians who appeared to be hungry as they were on a hunger strike to protest against their social situation.Shukri, Mohamed, Youness, Bouziane and others wanted to talk about their multiform sufferance which pushed them to leave homeland and enter Algeria.

“We had to eat cattle food; which caused pains made our children sick,” they told Echorouk.

On of them was about to cry. “What must I do when my little child tells me that he has a stomachache due to hunger? If I find a way to commit a suicide, I will kill myself

!”

Others talked about the absence of electricity, water and decent houses. Many schoolboys stopped going to school as it is very as from them in Kafssa. They blamed local officials for all that sufferance.

“We now represent our children and all families. We give Tunisian authorities time to settle our situation. Otherwise, all our children, wives who are 3,500 will join us here in Algeria

.”

The Algerian guards did not allow the Tunisians to approach more in the Algerian land while some Algerians brought some food to the protestors but they did not want to eat. Some Tunisians cried: “Let’s the world and our President Zinelabidine Benali hear us to take away our sufferance.”
