Turkish Industrialists at Echorouk Forum: “Stop bureaucracy if you want to achieve economic renaissance”

Member of the Turkish Businessmen Association, “MUSIAD” and former adviser to the Turkish Prime Minister, Dr. Ahmed Fadi Ughlo, said he worked over 35 years to guide the Turkish Economy, calling on Muslim investors to unite across different countries, and exchange knowledge through mutual visits.

Echorouk Forum guest spoke about the factors of the Turkish economy’s success, which exceeded the rest of the Muslim countries by about 30 years at least.

“Turkish government has lifted its hand from the private factories and properties and launched new flights to unable the transportation of their goods. Turkish authorities removed all the burdens on manufacturers, as each Turkish province, out of 81 provinces, owns an industrial company that is connected to electricity, water and various facilities, to ease the burden, especially transport. This allows controlling even the industrial waste that is thrown, so as not to have a negative effect on the environment”.

“Turkey will be the third European force by 2020, through important procedures that are related to exempting 23 provinces from taxes, and every time three provinces are exempted, and three other provinces are added so as the resolution will include all the provinces. Any Turkish investor can open a company in just one day, and Turkey owns 80% of the world’s metals.”

“Same privileges are granted to every Muslim who wants to invest in Turkey, like the rest of the Turks. Government puts double privileges for the rest of the European countries in the fields of investment, as it announced readiness to grant five years as a guarantee in the food industry, rather than one year in force in Europe. Companies guarantee’s exceeds the European guarantees, with accompanying them with experts or training Algerians and after-sales warranty”.

“Visits of the Turks to Algeria back to 20 years ago, and cooperation continued through the presence of more than 100 Turkish companies in Algiers. We hope to reach 500 companies and more after two or three years because the Algerian individual is convinced with the Turkish product. Algeria has elements of the investment better than Europe. In Europe, there is no solar energy, youth and a market such as Algeria, in addition to oil and hydrocarbons. We want to see Algeria as the leader of Africa in terms of economy, because the needs of the industrialists are present in the Algeria, and the laws are good and it should only raise the routine and obstacles.”

“Do not make of Turkish Jews Algeria partners to avoid Israeli industry”

Ahmad Fadi Ughlu called upon all Algerians manufacturers who are wishing to create a partnership with Turkish investors, to investigate the past of each investor, because the Jews deal with Israel in supplying preliminary products.

“We advise the Algerian investor to analyze the partner and his past before launching any partnership, because in Turkey there are Turkish Jews who can become partners as Turkish nationals but bring the basic materials for manufacturing from Israel.”

“Best way to learn it, is to choose an Algerian mediator, like the Arab African Investment and Development Center, which ensures consulting and services for the benefit of both the Turks and Algerians, and has a presence in various economic forums that are held in Turkey”.

“We are not afraid of Chinese competition; we did not get involved in corruption”

Member of the Turkish Businessmen Association “MUSIAD”, Ahmed Fadi Oghlu, said the Turks are not afraid of the Chinese Economy, which offers cheap products that enabled it to dominate many private markets.

Fadi Ughlu denied involving Turkish Industrialists in corruption cases, saying that the partnership between Turkish and Algerian Industrialists is not only based on profit, but also aims to transfer the experience of Turkey to Algeria.
