Two hectares of planted cannabis discovered in southern Algeria
Two hectares of planted cannabis were found out by judicial police in Adrar province (south of Algiers), Echorouk has learnt. Five people aged between 40 and 65 were caught red-handed.
A total of 1,200 opium plants, 150 planted cannabis and 350 g of cannabis powder were seized.The suspects are jailed pending for investigations and they will be introduced to the Attorney General starting from the next week.
