Two terrorists killed and two billion centimes retrieved in Algeria

Security forces Wednesday killed 2 terrorists in Ben Choud municipality, Boumerdes (50 km east of Algiers).

• The same source said security forces retrieved 2 Kalashnikovs and a sum of money worth 2 millions centimes which were found with the two terrorists. Their bodies were transferred to a near hospital.

• According to medical sources, Mourad. B, 55, joined a terrorist group 9 years after he had worked as a firefighter while the second terrorist, 25, joined it in 2005.

• Military helicopters to cope army convoys in Boumerdes

• Security sources told Echorouk that army commanders devoted military helicopters to escorte army convoys in their move towards Boumerdes. Digital cameras and modern equipments are used to monitor areas where they are carrying their military operations.

• Echorouk’s sources confirmed that this move came following attacks which had targeted the army troupes causing material and human losses.

• Security forces arrested a terrorist and retrieved a Kalashnikov in Tizi Ouzou province (100 km east of Algiers) Wednesday.

• Clashes between army and terrorists in Ikouran forests

• National army troupes entered into clashes with a terrorist group of six members on Wednesday at 7.45 PM in Ikouran forest and Tizentghidat village ( Tizi Ouzou province).
•  This came following an ambush that set up by the army there after learning information on a terrorist group moving there. The clashes lasted for about a quarter hour without any results.
