US ambassador to Algiers: “it is necessary to conclude an Algerian-US non-double taxation agreement for investors”

US Ambassador to Algiers David Pearce asserted on Wednesday that it was necessary to conclude an Algerian-US non-double taxation agreement for investors.

The signing of such an agreement would encourage and contribute in developing partnership, as there will be a significant reduction in tax burden on economic operators of both countries, Pearce told reporters on the sidelines of an Algerian-US business meeting. The US diplomat said the step was intended to encourage contacts among businessmen of both countries to develop a partnership, even if the decision is up to the operators and according to their interests.
