USA condemns terrorist attacks in Algeria

The United States of America’s Embassy in Algiers condemns the latest terrorist attacks which targeted the Algerian National Gendarmerie high-school in Isser (Boumerdes province east of Algiers) and Sunday’s attack in Skikda, through the following press communique.  

• “The people and government of the United States of America offer our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims of Tuesday’s suicide attack in Issers and Sunday’s attack in Skikda.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to them and to those who were injured.  We condemn in the strongest possible terms these acts of terror against the people of Algeria and vow to assist the Algerian government in any way that we can to bring the perpetrators of these horrible acts to justice.  We continue to support the Algerian people in their quest for peace and prosperity and in their battle against these forces of evil and hatred.”
