Valuation of OTA: Provisional contract awarding to Shearman and Sterling LLP France

ALGIERS- Law firm Shearman and Sterling LLP France has won “provisionally” the international tender for advice for Algerian state's buying mobile-phone company Orascom Telecom Algeria (OTA), under the law of pre-emption.

According to a notice on provisional contract awarding published by the ministry of Finance in national newspapers, Shearman and Sterling LLP France got 98 points of 100 (58/60 in technical bid and 40/40 in financial bid).

The law firm bade for $2.155 million and proposed a period of 100 days for completion of the evaluation of OTA.
