War against the « Salafist Group » is continuous in Algeria

Investigations enabled the Security services dismantle a supporting network of the terrorist group “ Mouh Jack”, specialized in kidnappings, because it gave information, supply and transport for the terrorists who are active in “Boudhare” and “Zatara” in Thnia ( Boumerdes province), where there are workshops of manufacturing the traditional bombs that are used in implementing suicide attacks.

• A judiacial source said that the security interests found that three members of the “Salafist Group” came from “Boudhar” region, one of the most important terrorist strongholds, where they were operating under the banner “ Al Arkam” battalion, and under the command of the so-called “ Kori Abdelmalek”, nicknamed “Khalid Abou Sofiane”.
• This network was behind several criminal attacks in the region, such as the attack on a patrol of the national gendarmerie in 2006, which killed a gendarme and wounded an other in El Karma region, and an attempt to kill a retired gendarme in Zammouri.
