Watford to hire Algerian Arrache

Marseille midfielder Salim Arrache is the latest name to be linked with a move to Watford in January after his loan spell at Stade de Reims was cut short to stick him in the shop window. 

•  Hornets’ gaffer Brendan Rodgers has insisted he does have irons in the fire ahead of the transfer window re-opening in the New Year and Arrache is widely tipped to be on his hit list.
• Then again, it will probably be only a matter of days before Rodgers rebuffs any speculation surrounding the Algerian international just like the Scott Sinclair/Ben Sahar rumours.
• The 26-year-old has also attracted interest from Nantes, FC Moscow and Wigan, but his record in the French second division this season does not look that impressive.

  Arrache, an Algerian international who holds a French passport, has started just six games and has not scored a goal.
