World Cup Qatar 2022: Algeria To Face Burkina Faso, Niger, Djibouti
The Algerian national team will play in a group that includes Burkina Faso, Niger and Djibouti teams, within the framework of the draw for the second round of the qualification groups for African sides for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar, on Tuesday evening,
FIFA launched the draw with the Confederation of African Football, in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, where the Algerian Football Federation was represented by technician Aziz Bouras, the Greens goalkeepers coach, and Ibrahim Belyacine, the national team’s coordinator.
The Algerian Desert Warriors will playoff in the first group against three rivals Burkina Faso, Niger and Djibouti in six rounds, then the leader of the group will qualify to the third and final round of the World Cup 2022 qualifiers.
The 40 participating teams were divided into 10 groups, each with 4 national teams. The leader of each group will qualify for the last qualifying round of the World Cup, which is played in the form of direct exclusion (round trip), which will result in the qualification of 5 national teams from the black continent to the Fifa World Cup Qatar 2022.
