Prominent figures and scholars as well as religious men be it from the “Malaki” or “Ibadhi” trend called on the immediate” intervention of the authorities to ease tension in the region of Berianne” and urge he president Abdelaziz Bouteflika to “use all his constitutional rights to stop bloodshed”.

The wise men of the town, who are doing their utmost to cool down the situation, declared that “the strong Algerian state that defeated terrorism will not face troubles to handle the crisis”

All parties are unanimous to say that there is not such an ethnic crisis in the troubles that shattered the quiet city in which communities are living together in a “perfect harmony” and are blaming obscure forces for plotting to spark controversy.

To play the mediator between local authorities and the inhabitants, a committee has been set up aiming at supervising the events day by day. As a first step, the committee called for the redeployment of security forces around the city; “we felt secure when the troops arrived to town” declared the members of the committee.

Our roving reporter asked the committee members who was responsible for these events; while purported news talk about a list containing the names of people behind the troubles between the hands of the security forces.
