Yebda, Meghni and Abdoune strengthened Algeria team, says striker Ghazzal

Algeria’s striker Abdelkader Ghazzal said he is happy that players like Meghni, Yebda and Abdoune joined the team as they will make it stronger and more stable.

• You are preparing for Sunday’s match against Rwanda and everyone seems to be excited about it.

• As you see, we have started the serious job ahead of the match against Rwanda. It is an important qualifying match to the Wold Cup 2010. Actually, we prepare for all our matches in wonderful friendly conditions. That’s great!

• You seem you are already involved in the match before it starts especially that qualification to the World Cup finals depends on it.

• As far as I am concerned, I do not think there is an important match and another less important. It is true that the match against Rwanda is the fourth one but we consider it as important as all the previous matches.

• You will play it after the match between Zambia and Egypt. The result may be decisive for Group 3.

• Sunday’s match is very important to us and so it is the match between Zambia and Egypt. Yet, we are preparing ourselves to play the match against Rwanda and we have no other choice than winning.

• We focus on our match and we are not very interested in the others’ matches. We should not forget that we must win.

• You joined the national team last year and played a friendly match against Benin. Do you feel you got familiar with the Greens quickly and easily? Have you found the national team as you were always expecting?

• I am very happy for playing with the Greens. I have been beefing comfortable since the first match. I heard a lot about the seriousness of the national team. The managers’ efforts have played an important role in those results.

• You scored your first goal against Egypt. Was it an important event for you?

• It was the first goal I scored in an official match with the Algerian team. I hope there will be more goals. I have to say I can not forget that goal quickly.

• Algeria has been qualified to the African Cup due to beheld in Angola within three months. Did you start thinking about that as you will be playing for it for the first time?

• I am proud of our qualification to the African Cup. I am very excited about that. Honestly, we are working on qualification to the World Cup and then the African Cup.

• Many say the national team has never been thinking about the World Cup and its main objective was the African Cup. What can you say about that?

• Actually, the team’s first objectives were leading a fierce competition in Group 3. The African Cup was one of our priorities. Our victory over Zambia opened the door for us to compete for the World Cup.

• You have almost played all the matches with the national team. Do you think your work with the Greens is successful or you were expecting a better job?

• I am convinced in all what I have done for the team. I am happy that the technical staff trusts me. I think I am ready to give more in the next matches because that’s why I am there.
