Youcef Yousfi to be questioned about oil smuggling and illegal sale
Youcef Yousfi, Algeria's energy minister

Front for Justice and Development sent an oral questioning to the mines and energy minister,Youcef Yousfi, about smuggling Algerian oil and selling it illegally, and on the extend of subjecting the oil wells to monitor, in light of an absence of transparency in oil trade at the level of Sonatrach and it’s foreign partners, that is called a “dimensional corruption”.

A Mp Lakhdar Ben Khellaf, from FJD party sent an oral question to the minister of mines and energy Youcef Yousfi, n• 119/2013, a copy available to Echorouk, asking him whether there is oil smuggling operation or illegal sale, adding; “Are there wells that pump oil but are not controlled? What are the measures taken to stand before the negative aspects that are mentioned in the report of the monitoring council on the law of settling the budget for 2009 and 2010, especially since the ancient wells which remain according to the business figures in application of the new law on hydrocarbons”.
The questioning asserted that the report confirmed that the measures that have been taken to protect the country, like creating a fund for adjusting the revenues, are not enough    because the expected oil budget did not reach the desired results despite the mobilization of important means.
