Sports entered the heart of the conflict between Saudi Arabia and its allies in boycotting the State of Qatar, as Saudi Arabia is ready to launch a network of sports channels under the name "PBS Sports" and a huge budget of 7 billion dollars is allocated to buy the rights of major football leagues.

According to Al Arabiya television channel, Saudi Arabia's Alwaleed Bin Talal, announced officially the launch of this package of channels that will be next Wednesday, at a press conference during which he spoke about all the details of the project, such as the satellites that will be broadcast and their frequencies.

According to leaks, the broadcast will be on Nilesat and Arabsat, and will start with one channel before adding 4 channels at the beginning of the new football season.

According to Al-Arabiya, the huge budget that is allocated is intended to enter the competition from a position of power over the rights of broadcasting the major world leagues in Spain, Italy and England, and will be free of charge as much as possible, with symbolic contributions according to the international regulations that are governing this matter.

For his part, Mufleh Al-Hefta, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Media City, published a tweet on his Twitter page, saying: "

"Thank you for your confidence in PBS Sport channels, and we ask Allah in this holy month to help us to satisfy you, and we hope that this support will continue by you, our date is Wednesday".
