100,000 people apply for 12,000 jobs in schools

Education regional authorities in provinces received 100,000 applications for 12,000 new jobs. A total of 70,000 of them are for primary schools. The door was opened to people who have licence degree in biology and philosophy to teach in primary schools. Education regional authorities in Algiers received 1,600 applications.

The national education ministry obliged education directors to accept work certificates signed by the ministry only and reject those signed by school headmasters.

As for applicants who have work certificates signed by headmasters in not the same province, the ministry will take in consideration their experience. Selected applicants will have to settle their documents and contact the education regional authorities which signed their certificates.

Human resources management department receives between 10 and 30 questions every day from education regional authorities about required degrees for the vacant jobs.
