17 Quintal of Cannabis Trafficked From Libya Seized in Illizi

Customs officers and national army troops in the province of Illizi have managed to seize 17 quintal of cannabis trafficked from Libya on board of three 4-wheel drive vehicles.

The traffickers were noticed on the early morning of Saturday (7 am), as they were crossing the borderline with Libya on their way to Algerian territory on board of three 4 wheel drive cars.

 The joint forces were due to chase the traffickers for long hours, before forcing them to abandon 1690 kg of trafficked cannabis and the three vehicles, to run away in the desert.
