1800 vets on the terrain during the Eid

The ministry of agriculture and rural development has mobilized nearly 1800 vets across the country ahead of the Eid- Al Adha ( the second Muslim feast) with the aim to assure appropriate sanitary conditions during the ritual.

• The authorities will put the slaughterhouses at the disposal of the population in a move to encourage them to encourage them to sacrifice their animals amid healthy conditions.

• The operation was carried out in close collaboration between the agriculture and the interior ministries. A large awareness campaign was launched in the different media supports including local radios to inform the citizens about the different measures.

•  

• Nearly 3 million sheep are set to be sacrificed during the Eid while 485 slaughterhouses will be open during that day to assure the smooth running of this operation.
