300.000 Algerian Tourists Visited Turkey Within A Year

The number of Algerians who visited Turkey in 2018 reached 300,000 tourists, an adviser at the Turkish Embassy in Algeria, Mustafa Kara, said at the International Forum on “Ottoman Policy between the Maritime and Desert Field in the Modern Maghreb” that was held in Laghouat (Southern Algeria).

“Number of Algerian tourists increased remarkably in recent years in line with the distinguished relationships between the two countries”.

“In 2016, 215,000 Algerian tourists arrived in Turkey”, he added.

As part of facilitating the process of filing Turkish visa applications for Algerians, the spokesman revealed that six new centers for filing Turkish visa applications will be opened soon in Algeria through some provinces including the south of Algeria.

These offices will be added to seven Turkish visa centers that currently exist in Algeria.

The advisor at the Turkish Embassy in Algeria confirmed that the Turkish investment in Algeria is witnessing a “remarkable” development through the presence of 1,000 Turkish companies that are currently active in Algeria in various fields.

The volume of Turkish trade investment in Algeria exceeded three billion dollars.
