50 Million DZD Seized On Border Of Algeria With Mali
Customs border guards have managed recently to abort the smuggling of an amount of 50 million DZD on the border of Algeria with Mali.
The border guards have intercepted a couple of 4 wheels drive cars on the border track leading to Khalil locality, in Mali.
After searches, the border guards have seized about 50 million DZD on board of the vehicles.
Security services are investigating on the destination of the seized cash, which likely were about to be used by traffickers.
The operation has been conducted on the base of accurate information collected by joint security services, who are organizing regular patrols along the border line, from Bordj Badj Mokhtar to Timiaouine.
The operation falls in the frame of anticipating smuggler movements which increase in the summer time.
