Diplomatic Move Across 20 Countries In Search For Hard Currency

Algerian diplomacy began strongly moving in search of new markets for exporting local products that are “Made in Algeria”, after the oil price stood at low levels, and this after the facilities that government decided to grant to Algerian exporters following the last meeting which brought together the Commerce Minister, Bakhti Belaib, a few days ago, with the Association of Exporters, and the Algerian product is expected to participate in 21 international events during 2016, at a time when Algerian officials and businessmen will travel to 20 countries in search for partnership opportunities.
According to the official program for international economic events for the year 2016, which was checked out by Echorouk, Algerian officials and businessmen are expected to move, in coordination with Algerian consuls and ambassadors abroad to 20 countries to review the Algerian product in Canada, Miami, the United States and France, which they will visit twice a year, Egypt and Niger, Turkey, Cuba, Senegal, Mauritania, Chad, Benin, Burkina Faso, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Cameroon, Sudan and Vietnam.
There is a coordination between the Commerce and Industry and Mines Ministries, and the Foreign Ministry to adjust the calendar and programs of Algeria’s participation in international events, as the start will be with the participation of Algeria in Khartoum exhibition in Sudan on January, then in Cairo next March, then they will go to Vietnam in April, then Niamey in Niger, and after that they will participate in Riyadh Exhibition in Saudi Arabia on June, and Istanbul on September, then Havana exhibition in Cuba on November, then Dakar, Senegal, in December, which are internationals exhibitions through which all Algerian products will be displayed in different industrial sectors through private rows.
With regard to exhibitions, Algeria will participate in 4 events with 4 areas in Mauritania’s Nouakchott, and N’Djamena, Chad, Cotonou in Benin and Ouagua Doguou in Burkina Faso, and it will participate in 7 fairs that are related to the food industry and agriculture, like the Gulf Food Fair that is organized in Dubai from the current January, 21 to 24, and the Agriculture Fair in Singapore on April, and Sial Fair in Montreal, Canada, in the same month and the Agriculture and Food Fair in Barcelona, as well as the Food Fair in Miami, USA, and “FOODEX” in Saudi Arabia in November.
