European Commission opened an investigation on granting “Schengen” visas to enter Europe by the Maltese Consulate to Algerians, which reached about 7,000 visas over 18 months, and that is a violation and breach of the European legislation which is in force, and the granting of visas outside the Maltese Consulate in Algeria is illegal.

“Malta Independent” newspaper that is published in English, said the European Commissioner for Migration and internal affairs and Citizenship, Dimitris Aframopolus, said during last week, that the European Commission asked the Maltese authorities to provide it with information and details about the granting of visas to Algerian nationals by the Consulate of Malta in Algeria.
“European Commission will consider whether the granting of visas was made in accordance with the European system and applicable law, after receiving information and details by Malta.”
“Investigation was launched after the repeated complaints of the European Parliament by a French MP, Elizabeth Morin-Chartier, who told the press recently about the issue of granting visas to Algerians in order to enter the “Schengen” space with the stay for a few hours only on the Maltese soil, wondering if the Maltese Consulate services in Algeria raised security concerns in the European countries about the Schengen space.”
Previously, former Malta consul to Algeria, Robert Falzon, was questioned by the Maltese police in the same case, which is granting 7,000 Schengen visas to Algerians, in a way that violated the European law in force, and granting them outside the consulate doors in suspicious sale operations.

Who else can stab you in the back ? Only France and French .. Based on what , they make themselves more important than us .. They are wrong
About time the government create life for its citizen to stop running away to countries that have no values compared to Algeria .
Algeria need to become a dream country for everyone , just like it was once . Then , I am sure French will start applying for visas to enter the country that they once conquered for 132 years
