Housing: Ministry sets standards of identifying AADL apartments’ locations

AADL housing applicants will be granted apartments according to the serial number of the applicant, Minister of Housing, Urbanism and the City, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, said in a press conference, Saturday, on the sidelines of the evaluation meeting that was held by the Housing Ministry with the sector’s directors at Djenan el Mithal in Algiers.

“If a surplus is registered in one of the proposed locations, the priority of choice will be for the early subscribers. AADL 2 subscribers will choose the locations by the end of October.”

“AADL underwriters reach 89.000 for the years of 2001 and 2002; can choose the locations until the end of October, and then AADL 2 subscribers will select locations where they wish to live.”

“AADL 1 housing underwriters will benefit from special standards, and if there will be saturation of one of the proposed sites, AADL agency would resort to the selection according to the serial number, and thus it will give others the second or third proposal. The process of identifying the locations will be subject only to the serial number of the file, and there will be no favoritism. Granting apartments to the first group of AADL housing program will be amended before the end of June 2016.”
