Abdelaziz Ziari, Algeria's health minister
Syndicate of Health professionals, was surprised of the health minister, Abdelaziz Ziari, on Wednesday, in parliament, and accused him of the crisis in health situation, especially since the Minister said that he will take extremist measures with the syndicates if they will continue striking, and refuse to dialogue with the syndicate which will continue the strike along with the common sectors on Sunday.
Head of the National Syndicate of Public Health Practitioners, and member of the syndicate of health professionals, said in a statement to Echorouk, to what was said by the Health Minister, that he will be extremist in his positions and that he will not dialogue with them.
“The Minister’s statement raised a lot of questions and we did not understand neither the content nor the aim, and why did he refuse to deal with the four syndicates?”
“Despite we asked for an official demand to talk about various files before the strike, but unfortunately the minister did not respond or move or program a reconciliation meeting until now. I prefer to deal with media data without professional respect or estimate, especially as we enter the third week of protest. We ask for dialogue with syndicates that adopted since 20 years, and we did not require it with the syndicate”.
4,000 doctors get 18,000 ZDZ monthly wages
Member of the syndicate of health professionals said; “Our letter to the citizen is that we have the right to ask for better conditions in light of the deteriorating purchasing power”.
