PM Sellal determined September 30 as a deadline to assign workers who are 60 years to the compulsory retirement

Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal, decided the date of 30 September, as the deadline for the application of the instruction on assigning each person who reached sixty to the mandatory retirement, in a move to free a number of the new financial positions which will support jobs that are approved in the initial Finance Act of the current year.

The coming social entry will notice a series of promotions with the majority of institutions and official bodies and ministerial departments in the ranks of young officials, as a result of the application of the mandatory retirement procedure.

Governmental sources told Echorouk that the Prime Minister, Abdelmalek Sellal, issued a procedure relating to the compulsory retirement, for everyone who has reached the official retirement age that is determined in the Labor Law 90-11 at sixty years old, and which was issued nearly three months ago with a new instruction, which carried a mandatory nature and restricted the previous instruction under official deadlines.

Sellal confirmed in his instruction, which reached various ministerial departments, and the General Directorate of the Civil Service and the Governors of the Republic, on the need to close the file of “cleaning” the administrations from each person who reached the legal age for retirement, before the 30th of September as a final deadline.
