French radicals insult Algerians through youtube

French right radicals are carrying on their smear campaign against the Algerian people though the posting of a video on youtube showing a group of French citizens giving a finger in reference to the rude gesture made by the former defence minister Gerard Longuet to insult the Algerian authorities over the French war crimes in Algeria.

The 1.18 seconds video shows some 30 individuals representing different social categories including adults, children, women , men , elders, Jews and Christians pointing the camera with the V-sign, while others uttered the phrase” This is for those who demand repentance”.

The initiators of this ignoble act have purposely selected people from different social backgrounds and religions to insult the Algerians, ahead of the official visit of François Hollande to Algeria on December 19.

The number of viewers has neared 20 thousands two days after its posting on the website and has been widely commented by the internet users. Some have expressed their total support while others, most probably Algerians, have vehemently condemned it.

One of them has slammed the Algerian authorities for not reacting accordingly writing” The Algerian people will not keep silent”. I ‘m of the spread of the campaign against Algeria to other peoples around the world including the American Indians… One , Two, Three Viva Algeria…, he went on writing .

Echourouk tried to get in touch with some war veterans and historical figures including the former war veterans minister Said Abadou , in order to comment on the video , but failed short in its endeavour.
