“He told us we will travel to Canada within six months and get a job and a home there…years passed and we lost our money without getting any visas or compensation. We read on one of the largest Algerian newspapers that the office of legal advisory and immigration to Canada which offered us its services never existed and has no authorisation by the Canadian embassy or even by the organization of the Algerian lawyersâ€, said the six victims who attended Tuesday’s court of Sidi Mhamed, Algiers. They came to expose their suffering at the hands of the Canadian lawyer Patrice Brunei, who cheated on them during 16 years accompanied by his fake office director, Ibrahim Kater, reaping the amount of one and half million dollars.
