A Car Accident Kills Five Algerian Kids In France

The car accident killed 4 Algerian children (between the ages of 3 and 14 years), on Monday at Highway 7, in the Drome southwestern France.

Among the victims of this painful accident, there are also three adults and one minor, who travelled by car of the type seven-seat Renault Scenic, but they are in a critical condition, and they belong to one family, part of which resides in the city of Lyon, and others from the same family live near the capital, Paris.

The traffic massacre, according to the French website “20 minutes” killed five children, Tasneem, who is three years old, Maryam, eight years old, Anfal, 11 years old, Youssef 12 years old, and Rayan, 14 years old. They died as a result of the accident caused by the barrels who were rolling from a truck that was driving on the highway.

The driver, a boy and two women survived after they managed to get out of the car that crashed and caught fire, while an eight-year-old child was in intensive care, and the two women were suffering from serious burns, and they were present at the Edouard Herriot Hospital in Lyon, according to the tweet of the Dean of the Villeurbanne Mosque, Kassi Ezzeddine.

On Wednesday, the Grand Mosque of Lyon established a funeral council during which it received condolences for the souls of the victims and solidarity with the bereaved family, bearing in mind that the consulate of Algeria in Lyon announced that it would guarantee the transportation of the bodies of the victims to Algeria for burial.
