A movement of transfer and exclusion among Algerian ambassadors and consuls

Foreign Ministry launched a large movement of change, transfer, exclusion, isolation and referring to retirement in the diplomatic corps, which included especially ambassadors, consuls and representatives of Algerian diplomacy in the large capitals of the world and most important European and Arab countries.

Official sources told Echorouk that this movement in the diplomatic corps is the largest and most important since years, as change, isolation and transfer reaches ambassadors and consuls in Arab and western countries that are classified as “key countries” internationally.
Information available to Echorouk indicate that the change includes, according to a preliminary list:Washington and New York in USA, Rome in Italy, Madrid in Spain, Bern in Switzerland, Ottawa in Canada, Copenhagen in Denmark, Oslo in Norway and Tokyo in Japan.
Reform also includes a number of Arab countries like Doha in Qatar, UAE and Lebanon, as it was decided that a number of change will reach Algerian consuls in Marseille France and Jedda in Saudi Arabia.
Foreign Ministry used in implementing this operation the diplomatic corps according to the map which detects the most important activities and outcomes of consuls and ambassadors of Algeria across a number of Arab, European and American countries, as it was decided to sign decisions of transfer and exclusion and ending functions, with the promotion of some high officials to the position of consuls and ambassadors, as a list of names will be announced later in the official gazette.
Echorouk sources said that the change in the diplomatic corps was launched in the framework of the tasks and constitutional powers of the President of Republic, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, noting that the third item of the article 77 of constitution, stipulates that the President of Republic decides about the foreign policy of the nation and direct it.
In the same functions and powers, the constitutional article 78 allows to the President to appoint ambassadors of the Republic who were sent abroad and end their missions, and also receives credentials of foreign diplomatic representatives and credentials of ending their missions.
