Abou Ratib eager to launch “Mounchid Al Arab Festival” starting from Algeria

Mounchid or religious singer, Mohamed Abou Ratib, is currently preparing a major project of “Inchad” (festival of songs having as a theme Islam and its lofty values) which he wants to launch from Algeria in partnership with the Algerian Television (ENTV).

• According to Abou Ratib, this project will be more important than that of the Charika Mounchid of the United Arab Emirates.

• Taking the floor at Echorouk’s weekly Forum, Abou Ratib said       that he wanted to make Algeria the favourite destination of all mounchidine (religious singers) and all the fans of this art.

• He pointed out to this effect that this project which is still in the making would be translated into reality before the holy month of fasting of Ramadhan of next year (2012).

• Asked by Echorouk about the tragic events now unfolding in Syria, Mohamed Abou Ratib said that the only way out of the crisis was the swift departure of the brutal Al Assad regime which is committing appalling massacres against innocent Syrian civilians, as he put it.
