“Algeria spends 3000 b dinars on public deals and 1500 b dinars on wages and grants each yearâ€, Ahmed Ouyahia
Algiers-Decisions of the economic tripartite aiming to boost economy and support institutions to be put into effect during the current year, PM Ahmed Ouyahia said here on Saturday
PM Ouyahia added during the works of the tripartite that decision will be made and discussed before being put into force this year.
“The tripartite is a special summit because it is a presidential instruction which ordered government to invite partners for consultation devoted exclusively to study ways and means to support the development of the institution and promote the most appropriate climate for investment and economic activity”, he explained.
“Government is receiving syndicates and employers during this tripartite calling for further economic investment, improving production, raising exports outside hydrocarbons and diversifying it. We need further efforts”, he asserted.
“Algeria must boost economic investment in order to meet the national demand, create more jobs and improve productivity and raise exports and diversification”.
“Over 1000 b dinars (about $14 million) were realized since January 2011 in public and private investments in various sectors outside hydrocarbons, explaining last year’s growth which reaches 6% outside hydrocarbons”.
