Ahmed Ouyahia:”Citizens should not believe the advocates of oil revenues' distribution on Algerians”

Secretary General of the National Democratic Rally (RND), Ahmed Ouyahia, asserted in a popular gathering inTizi Ouzou (east of Algiers), that the only way to protect the country and the region from the control of Islamists is the large participation in 10 May polls.

Ouyahia drew a special greeting to the leader of FFS Hocine Ait Ahmed, following the decision to participate in the coming elections, saying: “This decision stems from the wisdom and experience of this man of history, who is certain today more than ever, that this is not about win or loss in elections, but about saving the country from the very critical period. “

Secretary-General of RND party criticized Islamists saying that speaking about the distribution of wealth of Hassi Messaoud to citizens in the event of winning the next election is a misleading of the people, and that this would eliminate the right of people to get the rest of the privileges that they can get in the country.

Ouyahia responded to the political parties that use the “spring” in their speeches, saying;”Unlike Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Algeria signed the Evian agreements in the spring of March 19, 1962,and lived another spring in Amazigh region in April 1980.”

The Secretary of RND added that the reason for the absence of Algerian society traditions is caused by the oriental winds that blew on the country. He called on residents of the area to protect these customs to stop this wind in the region, through moving strongly to the polls on 10 May and vote for the country’s interests.
