Algeria Ambassador to Libya Prepares the Visit of NTC Mission to Algiers
Algeria has welcomed the imminent visit of a mission of Libya National Transitional Council to Algiers, while the Ambassador of Algeria to Tripoli is meant to prepare this visit.
Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry, Ammar Belani, told Echorouk reporter that following the interview of Head of NTC Mustapha Abdul Jalil with Echorouk -where he revealed that the NTC would send a mission to Algeria when the latter recognizes it- that such a visit would permit to both parties to draw up a plan of action aiming at developing the working groups in different sectors, which are meant to deal with all issues of common interest, while priority would be given to security related issues.
Mr Belani further added that “I’d like to remind you that on 22 September, Foreign Ministry made it clear that the government is willing to work closely with the new Libyan authorities to set up fruitful bilateral cooperation between the two nations and the two peoples.”
