Denmark, Finland and New Zealand in one rank in the list of the anti-corruption Index with 90 points.

In contrast, Afghanistan, North Korea and Somalia rank at the bottom, due to the lack of accountability of the leaders in these countries and the weakness of public institutions there, “which requires the need to take a tougher stance than in the face of corruption,” according to the same report. While the countries that notice a
decline on the Corruption Perceptions Index, are Euro-zone countries, which are the most affected by the financial and economic crisis.

The organization pointed out that the campaign against corrupt governments, led to the overthrow of many leaders from their offices during the last year, “but with the calm conditions, it became clear that the levels of bribery, abuse of power, and secret trade are still very high in many countries, according to the Transparency
International’s Corruption Perceptions Index 2012, as corruption is still destroying societies in different parts of the world. “
