Algeria: “Application forms for public promotional housing acquisition available on the Internet”

The Algerian minister of housing and town planning, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has announced that the application forms for the acquisition of public promotional housing (LPP) will be available online as from next Sunday.

Replying Thursday to an MP’s question during a session of the national popular assembly in Algiers, Mr Abdelmadjid Tebboune said the decision to put all the application forms online was made necessary after the deplorable disorders witnessed over the past few days owing to the large influx of subscribers who poured massively on the relevant housing agencies in the capital Algiers and in other provinces of the country.

He indicated that the move would avert untoward scenes and behaviours by certain people who want to submit their application forms at the reception desks without abiding by the rules in force.

The housing and town planning minister added that a total of 11 thousand application forms had been distributed until last Thursday at the national level including 7 thousand in the province of Algiers alone.
